How to Install Ultraguard Interior Pre-Cut PPF

Achieve a seamless, factory-finish interior with Ultraguard’s Precision Pre-Cut PPF, designed specially for Indian cars. Follow these step-by-step instructions for a clean, safe, and blade-free application.

What You’ll Need

  • Ultraguard Interior Pre-Cut PPF Kit
  • Fresh microfiber towel
  • Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA)
  • Baby shampoo (3 drops)
  • Spray bottle with 400ml water
  • Soft-edge squeegee
  • Precision Cutter (only to release Pre-Cut hold lines, not for trimming)

Step-by-Step Installation

1

Clean the Surface Thoroughly

Wipe the surface using IPA and a clean microfiber towel. Remove all dirt, fingerprints, and oils from panels like infotainment screens, piano black trims, gear surrounds, etc.

2

Separate Pre-Cut Film Pieces

Use an ideal cutter or blade to gently remove the pre-cut pieces from the whole sheet if they are held by micro tabs. Never use a cutter on the car’s surface— it is only for lifted film pieces.

3

Match the Parts Using QR Code

Scan the QR code provided with your kit to understand the layout and know which piece goes where perfectly. Match each film precisely to the corresponding interior part.

4

Final Surface Wipe

Clean the selected surface again with IPA before the application of the film to make sure that the surface is completely free from any residue and dry.

5

Prepare Slip Solution

To make a perfect slip solution, mix 3 drops of shampoo in 400 ml of water and fill it in the spray bottle, and your slip solution is ready for easy positioning.

6

Apply the Film

Spray the slip solution on the adhesive side of the film, and not on the interior surface, then place the film on the panel and make adjustments as needed.

7

Squeegee Gently

Use a squeegee with a soft edge to push out the excess slip water and air bubbles from the center outwards. Take time to make sure the surface is smooth and bubble-free.

Don’ts – What to Avoid

Do NOT spray slip solution directly onto the interior parts. Always spray only on the film to avoid moisture damage to electronics or trims.

Do NOT use blades to trim the film.

Ultraguard Pre-Cut PPF is precision-cut to fit perfectly—blades can damage your car’s interior.

Pro Installer Tip

  • Work in a clean, dust-free space.
  • Avoid touching the adhesive side of the film.
  • Allow the film to set for 24 hours before cleaning or using strong pressure.
